How to subscribe to specific forums or topics?
To subscribe to a specific forum, click the “Subscribe forum” link at the bottom of the screen on the green bar upon entering a forum/subforum. To subscribe to a topic, reply to the topic with the subscribe ("Notify me when a reply is posted") checkbox checked or click the “Subscribe topic” link within the topic itself.

Bookmarking
Bookmarking is much like bookmarking (Add to Favourites) in your web browser. You aren’t alerted when there’s an update, but you can come back to the topic later. Click the "Bookmark topic" link at the bottom on the green bar.

Your bookmarks and subscriptions can be accessed and modified via your User Control Panel in the links at the top of the page.

Can you change the colour of the notification marker, there is only a slight tinge of green on the markers ( left of the topic) which signals a new post can you make it something ore distinctive.
